WELCOME HOME
Welcome home is an outreach to people who have made it through homelessness and are now living inside. Had it not been for the amazing friends I have in my life, my transition from the streets to having my own apartment would have been very difficult. My friends helped me with everything from basic hygiene and household items from a mop, broom and cleaning supplies to toilet paper, toothbrush and toothpaste. With their love and support the transition from being homeless to having my own apartment was very smooth.
In the spirit of the love, support and friendship that was extended to me, my Welcome Home outreach now offers the same to people who are making the transition for living on the streets to having their own apartment. Like my friends helped me, you can help others by donating items that help someone make the transition from homelessness to have their own apartment very smooth.
All hygiene and personal care items should be new and not used, while things like toaster ovens, dishes and silverware be gently used and in working condition.
Your support of items for the hygiene kits as well as items for my Welcome Home outreach offers encouragement, love and support to people who are in need. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
