He said, She said

"When times get rough you always need a a shoulder to cry on someone who will listen, someone who'll be there... Kengi is all that and more for me. He's not only a Survivor of Life but an Advocate of Unconditional Love. Kengi shows the world that being human is natural. Through his youtube channel and Blog he has inspired and educated many about Homelessness, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Sickle Cell and most of all about living and loving life. "

- Robert Breining, POZIAM

"I've done several outreaches with Kengi. The work he has created is so needed. It has been such an honor to know him as my friend and a brother in Christ. The work he does is selfless and how he gives of himself even as he deals with so much is incredible. He is what I call a “make it happen” kind of person."

-Christina Jones, Atlanta Georgia

"Through You-Tube I recently became aware of the phenomenal work  that Kengi, a  man of faith and struggle has accomplished . It is so rare that one "meets" a person who is so transparent and honest about himself. Kengi  is  aware of the many levels of bureaucracy and parochial thinking that has  failed those  who can least be heard over the din of self-centered and self-righteous cliques . His commitment and strength as he faces so many barriers in his own life has been inspiring.  It can be said The City of Angels has an angel among men !"

-Backatwon, St. Louis, MO.

“Kengi is so dear to us and we are always in thanksgiving for the opportunity to serve and to be part the network of people that have been brought together to help others in need. There has been countless opportunities that have blessed others to be part of this and our hope is that more and more can provide support and be brought to insight and understanding of what it means to give. Thank you Kengi. We love you.”

"Kengi is an inspiration and his work is an inspiration to all.  With everything Kengi is dealing with in his own life, he always makes times to help others. Kengi was made a Dab the AIDS Bear Ambassador of Hope because of his commitment to those less fortunate, his determination to get out there even on his worst days.  I am honored to called him friend."

Every day I thank god for my brother Louis Carr. He put a 'home' for me on the net. A place where I could come and have people around me that shared and understood about the many problems in my life. He made me feel warm and welcome and loved. Your family is the people you choose (: So thankyou Louis for letting me in and for the wonderful site that you have created. Anyway you know how I feel about you, so enough about that. This site...is a celebration, what you do here changes the world bit by bit, and it makes a difference to me.

Life says for me to tell you this:
nothing needs fixing;
everything desires
a Celebration.
You were made to bend
so that you would find
all the many miracles at your feet.
You were made to stretch
so that you would discover,
your own beautiful face of Heaven
just above
all that you think you must shoulder.
When I appeal to God to speak to me,
I'm feeling just as small and alone as you might be.
But this is when, for no particular reason at all,

I begin to
SHINE

Love your sis.
